About me
Jesse Myers-Wakeman has been directing choirs for nearly 20 years and has been teaching voice for well over 15. Jesse is the director of choirs at Kennebunk High School, where he conducts the Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and Jazz Choir, as well as teaching piano, ukulele, and digital music. He is the Artistic Director of the Greater Freeport Community Chorus, and also serves as organist at the North Yarmouth Congregational Church. Jesse works hard to foster healthy vocal technique in singers of all ages and experiences, and to pass on his passion for all types of music-making. He is currently serving as Choral VP for MMEA.
