About me
William “Bill” Buzza is in his 33rd year of teaching. He earned his BM in Music Education from USM and his MS Ed in Educational Leadership from UNE. Bill teaches at Edward Little HS in Auburn, Maine where he conducts the concert, pep and jazz bands, multiple levels of guitar classes, and is the Arts department chair. Bill has been recognized as the 2025 MMEA High School Music Teacher of the Year, a Finalist for the 2011 Maine Teacher of the Year and was featured in a 2020 NPR story about how bands adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic. He resides in Auburn with his wife, Beth LaBrie.
